Mission Statement
Righteous Rides Customs and Righteous Rides Academy of Florida is grounded in Christian values of humility, honesty, integrity, respect, kindness, and a sense of community responsibility.
We strive to create eternal value by honoring God in all we do. This is reflected in how we conduct our business and how we care for our employees — our greatest asset. This will also be evident in everything that we put our hands to here at Righteous Rides Customs and Righteous Rides Academy of Florida.
To demonstrate the love of Christ Jesus to everyone we encounter. To demonstrate fair and honest business acumens in our everyday transactions.
Our Story
The concept of Righteous Rides Restomod Customs came at the age of 8 years old for me, Kurt Barreto. The days and nights in the garage with my father were the best days of my life. At that point, I knew this was for me. However, my father had other plans. He was an aircraft mechanic with PanAm Airlines, the Air Force and was known as Centereach Long Island’s “garage mechanic” who could fix anything. I learned from “The Book of Elias” directly from the author himself. His wealth of knowledge went above and beyond the above-average mechanic. What I am getting at is that I can fix just about anything, as anyone who knows me will testify to. But my heart has always been with the 1957 Chevy BelAir that my father cherished and hoped to restore. Due to an unforeseen event with PanAm and the economy, he was forced to give it away. This has been my life’s dream- to not only give my dad, who was a working-class man, the ability to own a Righteous Ride, but to other fathers, sons and all Restomod car enthusiasts who think they can’t afford one.
With the help of my family and friends my dream is coming true. We have officially opened Righteous Rides Customs on July 1, 2023. We have 2 cars in the pipeline that are starting immediately. More detail on the home page.
Our ultimate dream is to build up the Righteous Rides Customs brand so that we can have a Righteous Rides Academy of Florida. The academy will teach each candidate about Jesus, first and foremost, teach discipleship evangelism and teach them mechanic’s “under the hood”. Our hope is that they will walk away with a purpose, a new relationship with Christ and a lifelong career. We will seek donations to give them financial assistance and sponsorship for the academy fees.

Each project we build will be built on Kingdom Righteousness and on our scripture Matthew 6:33. It will be crafted especially for that client and their desires. We pride ourselves on being fair, honest and transparent. Our clients become part of the family.
